I was born in Macclesfield UK in 1959 and from the early age of five, I knew I wanted to be an artist. Though I studied Graphic Design and Illustration at College, I am completely self taught as an artist.

I have spent my life studying the techniques and materials of the old masters. Most of my professional career has been painting in a photorealist style. However, as I get older, the more I appreciate the impressionist style. Many artists travel this route including Rembrandt. I now love the thickness and juiciness of paint and the textures it can create.

During my professional career, I have been represented by many of the top Galleries and publishers, both here in the UK and Internationally.

I have paintings in many private collections throughout the World and have painted for British Royalty.
